During our time working with Liverpool City Council, we appreciate the supportive atmosphere our candidates are offered and the great respect they have for social workers throughout their time in their chosen role. Authorities, like Liverpool City Council, are governed by a vendor system. When jobs that come from these authorities come through, they manage them and send them out to registered agencies, like Portman Recruitment. We then put forwards CVs through of the right candidates, based on their requirements and if the candidate is successful then the vendor will request an interview.
Then, it’s over to you! Although we won’t leave you on your own with it, we guide our candidates throughout the process with interview practice and technique. We always follow up with both parties after the interview to get feedback from both the council and the candidates.
If you’re successful we’ll arrange a start date and provide you with a welcome pack! The support doesn’t stop there as all of our social workers benefit from a dedicated consultant who regularly checks in with you to make sure you’re happy in your role and everything is going smoothly.
